AirHelp has released a new global ranking of airlines, placing Brussels Airlines at the top with a score of 8.12 out of 10. Air Canada , the country's largest airline, ranked much lower, scoring 5.13 overall. The ranking was based on on-time performance, customer opinions, and complaint and claims handling. Air Transat was the best-performing Canadian airline, ranking 36th with a score of 6.82.
Additionally, Air Canada announced new fee structures for carry-on baggage and seat changes affecting passengers with basic economy fares
