Joe Haden will sign a one-day contract to retire as a member of the Browns and will be honored during the team’s Monday Night Football game on Halloween.
BEREA, Ohio -- The Browns will welcome back one of the bright spots of some of the darkest days of their rebirth when they face the Bengals later this month.
The Browns picked Haden seventh overall in the 2010 draft and it didn’t take long for him to establish himself as one of the team’s best players and one of Cleveland’s biggest cheerleaders. He was a fixture at Cleveland sporting events during his time here, especially at Cavs games, and embraced the city.
