Cleveland Browns vs. Chicago Bears, August 27,2022CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns closed out their preseason slate with a 21-20 loss vs. the Chicago Bears.
During the game, while York missed his first FG attempt, a 58-yarder that was wide left in the first quarter. In the second quarter he nailed a 57-yarder to get Cleveland on the board. With three seconds remaining in the half, he also nailed a 46-yarder that looked like it would have been good from 60.Last week at home against the Eagles, York made two FGs and both PATs. In Jacksonville in the first preseason game, he made a 31-yard field goal and all three of his PATs. He missed a 55-yarder.
He’s basically lived up to his reputation as a player with great hands, and one who may not have the best vertical speed, buthave the football speed to get open, can change speeds effectively and get to where he needs to be on his routes.pointed out to me, it’s clear Bell is understanding the defensive coverages he’s seeing on each snap and being able to find those spots makes him “quarterback friendly.”There’s no sugar-coating it.
