The Browns' head coaching search continues Wednesday with an interview with Eagles defensive co-ordinator Jim Schwartz.
CLEVELAND — Eagles defensive co-ordinator Jim Schwartz, who had a five-season run as Detroit’s head coach, is interviewing Wednesday with the Cleveland Browns for a job.
Schwartz was with the Lions from 2009-13. He inherited a 0-16 team and took it to the playoffs in his third season. Schwartz went 29-52 with Detroit. Schwartz, however, has more head coaching experience than any other candidate the Browns have spoken to, which could make him more appealing.
