Two Bronx shooters who ambushed a man early Friday morning and injured him with a hail of bullets remain at large, police reported.
Authorities said the shooting occurred at about 2 a.m. on June 9 in front of an apartment building at 1848 Anthony Ave. in Mount Hope.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police learned that the shooters, identified as unknown males wearing black clothing, approached the 26-year-old male victim at the location, pulled out guns and opened fire on him. Police said the shooters struck the man multiple times about the body. The motive for the shooting remains unknown and under investigation, sources familiar with the case said.The scene of the shooting on Anthony Avenue in Mount Hope, Bronx.
