While walking to a nail salon with a family member on Monday, 11-year old Kyhara Tay was tragically shot and killed. The shooting occurred on Fox Street and East 165th Street in Longwood. The suspects released gunfire on a crowded street. Salamanca, Gibson and other speakers voiced their outrage about violence in the community calling for meaningful action to an effort to save lives.
