The CEO of Broadmead Care anticipates visitors coming from far and wide to view the sustainable and integrated community being developed in Nigel Valley . This initiative includes a new complex-care facility called Nigel House , which is set to increase the number of complex-care spaces from 26 to 41. The $50 million project is a collaboration between Broadmead Care and B.C. Housing , aiming to create a world-class neighborhood encompassing housing, care, services, and green spaces.
The new facility, set to be completed by next summer, will also include 37 independent-living units and 10 affordable-housing units. A fundraising campaign to furnish the new facility is underway
