A Star Wars-themed pop-up experience brought fans together this weekend
NEWS RELEASE THE BRICKSPACE ****************** Local business The Brickspace is celebrating the success of its first-ever partnership with Cineplex Galaxy Cinemas Sault Ste. Marie, bringing Star Wars fans together for a special The Mandalorian and Grogu pop-up experience that welcomed more than 100 attendees to the theatre.
Held in conjunction with screenings of The Mandalorian and Grogu, the activation featured a themed display created by The Brickspace, offering moviegoers and fans an opportunity to browse Star Wars-inspired building block creations, connect with fellow fans, and celebrate one of the galaxy’s most beloved franchises. The event also debuted The Brickspace’s new themed photo-op photo wall, where guests could step into the Star Wars universe and capture memorable moments.
A total of 15 participants took part in the experience, with several attendees providing consent for their photos to be shared publicly following the event.
“This partnership marked an exciting milestone for us,” said Derek Pearce, Founder of The Brickspace. “Working alongside Cineplex Galaxy Cinemas for the first time gave us an incredible opportunity to connect with the community, celebrate Star Wars fandom, and showcase what The Brickspace is all about. The turnout and positive response exceeded our expectations.
” Following the success of the Cineplex pop-up, The Brickspace is now looking ahead to its upcoming May The Bricks Be With You event taking place on May 30 at the Marconi Club. The Star Wars-themed celebration will feature vendors, activities, themed experiences, building block displays, giveaways, photo opportunities, and special VIP experiences for fans of all ages.
