Brian Schoch has stepped down as Grandview Heights boys and girls track and field coach so he can watch his sons’ athletic endeavors.
Schoch had two stints with the Bobcats, leading the track teams from 2008-15 before returning in 2018. He also led the boys and girls cross country squads from 2009-14.The girls track team had never won a league championship before Schoch arrived, then captured titles in each of his first eight seasons. The girls also won league titles in 2017 and 2019 and Division III district titles in 2018 and 2019.
“I decided it was time,” said Schoch, who teaches business at New Albany. “Largely, it’s just because my boys are in the seventh and fifth grade, and their activity schedules have become more and more busy in the spring.”
