TORONTO — Two people were hurt when scaffolding collapsed in downtown Toronto this afternoon .
Toronto police responded to a call at Spadina Avenue and Bremner Boulevard at 1:23 p.m. Media reports indicate the building is under construction. According to Toronto Police Operations Twitter, a woman received a minor leg injury and debris from the collapse took out street and traffic lights in the area. Drivers were advised to avoid the intersection or treat it as an all-way stop.
An update reported two people with minor injuries and road closures on northbound Spadina from Bremner to Blue Jays Way, Bremner from Spadina to Rees, and the off-ramp from the westbound Gardiner to northbound Spadina will be closing.
