¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar1 just-emptied jam jar or 1 tablespoon jam A few drops orange blossom or rose water or flower blossom petals or pure vanilla extractYogurt and granola or chopped toasted nuts, for servingIn a small saucepan, combine the berries, sugar and honey. Arrange as much of the bread as necessary to cover the bottom and sides of the dish like a jigsaw puzzle, tearing and jamming in pieces to fit and cover it completely.
