Breakenridge: Alberta is part of the solution when it comes to climate change issues

Just because climate change is a federal priority, that doesn’t have to automatically mean that Alberta will be punished.

If our province is seen as an obstacle to addressing the problem, that’s going to hurt us in the long run.

That, however, doesn’t vindicate Ottawa’s current strategy, which is in dire need of improvement. But if we want the feds to be flexible, Alberta is going to have to show some degree of that, too.
