Police reported 22 new residential break and enters in Old Toronto between April 5 and April 11. That’s eight more than were reported during the previous week . Toronto’s overall weekly incidents fell by 12 to 37, bringing the city’s preliminary total for the year to 672 — down ten per cent compared to the same period last year.Two new residential break and enters were reported for Bay Street Corridor.
Three new residential break and enters were reported for Little Portugal. The first occurred at an apartment near Dovercourt Road and Sudbury Street on Saturday, April 9 at approximately 4 a.m. The second occurred at an apartment in the Abell Street and Sudbury Street area on Saturday, April 9 at around 6 p.m. The third took place at an apartment in the Abell Street and Sudbury Street area on Sunday, April 10 at approximately 11 p.m.
