Tkachuk will be making his Men’s World Championship debut. The Senators’ captain last played on the international stage at the U-20 World Junior Championship in 2018. Tkachuk tallied nine points in seven games for Team USA on the way to a bronze medal.
The 24-year-old finished with 74 points in 81 regular-season games for the Senators in 2023-24. Ottawa missed the playoffs for the seventh straight season. Caufield finished his third full NHL season with a career-high 65 points in 82 games for the Montreal Canadiens. The speedy winger played all 82 games for the first time in his career, and the Canadiens missed the playoffs for the third straight season.
