Brad Pitt & Sandra Bullock were developing a comedy movie about a couple in the midst of a divorce who air out their martial woes while selling their products on QVC - unfortunately, though, it's no longer in development.

Brad Pitt shares details on a failed QVC-inspired comedy with Sandra Bullock. Pitt and Bullock have had a successful year at the box office, sharing the screen in two films. First was the Bullock-led feature The Lost City, which saw the star playing a romance novelist caught up in a harrowing kidnapping plot along with her book cover model, played by Channing Tatum. Pitt played a smaller part in Lost City as Jack Trainer, a handsome, combat-ready man of action.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY More recently, Pitt starred in the action spectacle Bullet Train, which sees the star playing an unlucky assassin looking to do his job peacefully, only to be trapped on the fast-moving train with other killers who have connected yet conflicting objectives. Bullock appears in a small role as Maria Beetle, the handler of Pitt's Ladybug.

"Actually, Sandy [Sandra Bullock] and I did once try to develop a whole idea of a husband and wife team, who were QVC’s most successful salespeople, but we’re getting a divorce, we hate each other, and we’re taking it out on air as we sell things… That’s as far as we got." Pitt has previously starred in 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which saw a similar plot play out. While that film featured a married couple at odds upon discovering that they are spies for competing organizations, it features similarities in a couple dealing with marital problems that ultimately spill over into their work. The QVC comedy would have likely differed in a lack of action but would have still played up the humor between the at-odds couple.

Pitt and Bullock may continue to develop the film, but no inclination was given that it is still actively being worked on. However, with Bullet Train and The Lost City both finding success with the two actors on screen together, even if only briefly, another Pitt and Bullock team up could grace cinemas in the future. Still, it may not be as a bickering couple hawking QVC products.
