Boy suspended from school for 'assault' after hugging a teacher
A 12-YEAR-old boy was suspended from school for “assault” after he hugged his teacher during gym class, reports claim.
"And then I went over just like, and I gave her a hug and said, 'Please, I don't want to sit out' because I like the game," he told NBC. It wasn’t until the next period that the boy was called to the principal's office and told he would be punished over the incident.She added that Superintendent Maureen Binienda and other district officials said a 12-year-old should have known the hug was inappropriate.
