The film is slated to arrive in theaters on November 23, following its successful Venice world premiere last September.extended trailer offers us a darker and more intense glimpse of what to expect in the film. It highlights Maren’s constant inner battle of refusing to kill innocent people. It also teases Maren and Lee’s encounter with terrifying fellow eaters.
“The film will center around a story of first love between Maren , a young woman learning how to survive on the margins of society, and Lee , an intense and disenfranchised drifter, as they meet and join together for a thousand-mile odyssey that takes them through the back roads, hidden passages, and trap doors of Ronald Reagan’s America,” reads the synopsis.
