A Local Culinary Adventure: inspired by Halifax's Seaport Market | SaltWire #cooking #cookingtipsNEW GLASGOW- In the early hours of Saturday, October 7, 2023, at approximately 2:20 a.m. the New Glasgow Regional Police responded to a bomb threat reported at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow.
Hospital authorities alerted the NGRP after receiving a call from an unidentified female, claiming the presence of a bomb within the hospital premises. NGRP officers arrived at the scene, and a thorough search of the hospital was conducted. No evidence of a suspicious package or device was found during the search. Patients and staff within the hospital were not evacuated.
New Glasgow Regional Police Patrol Unit arrested a 42-year-old female at her residence in Springville, N.S. in connection with the incident.Resisting ArrestAngela Marie Anderson has been released upon strict conditions and will appear in Provincial Court in Pictou on November 20, 2023. Authorities are still investigating and urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the New Glasgow Regional Police at 902-752-1941.
