Boeing is feeling pressure from major U.S. airlines like Southwest and American to fix the company following a series of safety mishaps.

but said the airline doesn’t have the same level of exposure to Boeing until 2028 when it anticipates the Boeing 737 Max 10. Last week, American announced it was placing a massive order for 260 jets to fill travel demand for more domestic and short-haul international routes. Delta CEO Ed Bastian recently said the certification for the Max 10 could be delayed until 2027. The Atlanta-based airline was planning to use the Max 10 for its domestic network. In its place, Delta has been taking in Airbus A321 planes.reported this week that the FAA found Boeing failed 33 of 89 safety audits, with 97 cases of noncompliance recorded. The company’s safety culture was also faulted by a panel of aviation experts.
