A toddler’s body that was recently found in a Houston bayou has been identified as 2-year-old Nadia Lee, who disappeared last October, a medical examiner confirmed Sunday.
, received confirmation from the ME and said Nadia’s remains were recovered on March 21 at Vince Bayou.
Her father, 26-year-old Jyron Charles Lee, was arrested and charged with murder after he choked his 22-year-old wife, Nancy Reed, to death, according to police. Police said Lee confessed to placing his wife in a chokehold to prevent her from injuring their children. She later died from her injuries at a Houston-area hospital.
