Victim found by someone out for a walk about 7 a.m Friday at the side of Nanaimo’s Harewood Mines Road
A body was found by someone out for a walk about 7 a.m Friday at the side of Nanaimo’s Harewood Mines Road, just south of the Nanaimo Parkway overpass.
Nanaimo RCMP were called and closed off both lanes of the road before clearing the scene after several hours. The B.C. Coroners Service also attended. While the investigation is in its early stages, police said the person’s injuries are consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.Call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 with any information.
