A Texas woman and her young son were found dead after going missing and the mother could be the suspect in the deaths, authorities said Tuesday.
The bodies of a missing Texas woman and her 3-year-old son who were the subject of an AMBER Alert have been found, and the deaths were part of a possible murder-suicide, authorities said Tuesday. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said the deaths of Savannah Samantha Kriger, 32, and Kaiden Kriger were being investigated as a homicide. The bodies were found in a ditch near Tom Slick Park, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.
Savannah Kriger is considered a suspect, the sheriff said, adding investigators don't believe 'there are any suspects outstanding.' A firearm was recovered at the scene. Salazar said Kriger and the boy's father were involved in an ongoing child custody dispute and that a hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.
