BMW driver crashes into vehicle, highway barrier in Langford at an estimated 200 km/h
Posted: Jan. 23, 2023 3:44PMThere were no life-threatening injuries after the driver of a 2011 BMW X6 crashed into a 2018 Hyundai Elantra on Jan. 22.
West Shore RCMP say officers were called to the area around 7:40 p.m. on Jan. 22 in the northbound lane just south of Leigh Road. The northbound lanes were closed for around an hour for crews to clear the scene. The BMW then slid for around 500 yards and crashed into the median concrete barrier, with both vehicles sustaining major damage though somehow, everyone involved escaped without life-threatening injuries.
