The Blue Jays are set to face the Rockies in a three-day weekend series. Kevin Gausman aims to bounce back from a rough outing, while Ryan Feltner looks to continue his strong performance.

The Blue Jays welcome the Rockies into town, opening up a three day weekend series against the NL West bottom dwellers. Today’s game is set to get underway at the normal 7:07 ET start. Kevin Gausman will look to rebound from arguably his worst outing as a Blue Jay his last time out. In just 1.1 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks. He didn’t strike out a single batter for just the fourth start in his career, and he also gave up 2 home runs. His velocity was down to 91.

That likely rules him out for a return to action tonight, but I’d expect to see him get activated on Saturday, the same time the Jays are reportedly going to be adding Yariel Rodriguez to the roster. Cavan Biggio’s strong start to the season has seen him move up in the lineup pretty much on a nightly basis lately. After starting the season batting 9th, he has now bumped himself all the way to 5th, and he’s likely to see a few reps there.
