Breaking: Blue Jays trade Teoscar Hernández to Mariners for pitchers Erik Swanson, Adam Macko
have traded all-star outfielder Teoscar Hernández to the Mariners.
The 30-year-old Hernández, who made $10.65 million US this year, will be entering his eighth Major League Baseball season. He had a .267 batting average with Jays last season with 25 home runs and 77 runs batted in. He’ll immediately slot into the middle of Seattle’s batting order and could end up being a replacement in right field for Mitch Haniger, who is a free agent.
