George Springer will not play in the Toronto Blue Jays' series finale against the Chicago White Sox. The outfielder is undergoing more tests on his right elbow.

Springer left Tuesday’s game with the injury after striking out three times.The Blue Jays have an off day Thursday before starting a series in Milwaukee against the Brewers on Friday. That will give them time to get further evaluation of Springer and to determine whether to make a roster move.

With Springer out, Raimel Tapia plays centre field, Alejandro Kirk is at designated hitter and Gabriel Moreno catches on Wednesday.
