Dr. Blue Ivy is in the house!
was shared by Blue Ivy’s grandmother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, on Instagram, with the caption “Blue’s PSA.”
“Since we’re all stuck at home, I have this little DIY experiment that you can do at home too,” Blue says in a voice-over, displaying the ingredients needed for the project. In one bowl, the 8-year-old stirred together pepper with water, which was meant to represent the coronavirus . In another, Blue created a mixture out of different kinds of soap.
“You want to stick your finger inside the mixture of soaps,” Blue narrates, adding, “Make sure you get a lot on there.” Then, she puts her soapy finger into the pepper mixture, noting how the pepper residue moves away from the soap. “This is why it’s very important to wash your hands,” she says. “If you wash your hands, your hands will stay clean. If you keep your hands dirty, you might get sick.”
Blue ends her PSA by bidding farewell to her fans. “So, peace out. I hope you guys are staying safe, wash your hands extra, and please stay at home. Love you all, bye.” Tina’s post soon filled up with comments praising Blue for raising awareness — and for being an all-around rockstar. “This brilliant young queen 😭,” one person wrote, with another commenter adding: “Blue for President ✊🏽💯” .
