Blackpool hotel slapped with one star food hygiene rating as inspection finds urgent improvement needed
A Blackpool hotel has received a score of 'one' following a food hygiene inspection that assessed the takeaway on hygienic food handling and cleanliness among other things.
This means that there were serious issues found with the system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.The hotel's last inspection in May 2019 saw it awarded a rating of a four– the second-highest available.
