On Tuesday, the Chicago Blackhawks announced they have signed Martin Misiak to a three-year, entry-level contract. The deal, which carries through the end of the 2026-27 season, has a cap hit of $878,333.Misiak was taken in the second round, 55th overall, by the Blackhawks in the 2023 NHL Draft. He is known for his hard work and is a perilous forechecker.
The 19-year-old made his North American professional debut on April 21, playing with Chicago’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs.
