WakandaForever star Danai Gurira responds to reports about a rumored Okoye series, and it seems very encouraging.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Okoye actor, Danai Gurira, addresses the possibility of her character getting a spinoff series, which has been an ongoing rumor for some time. Gurira, who rose to fame playing survivor Michonne on The Walking Dead, first debuted as Okoye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018 with Black Panther.
Gurira's comment seems to imply that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever spinoff series, Ironheart, will not be the only one to come out of that movie. Now that Ayo has taken Okoye's spot as the new General of the Dora Milaje, Gurira's character is free to possibly venture outside Wakanda's borders and have brand-new adventures in the MCU.
