Black Madonna claims she was not told Amazon was involved in the Intersect Festival, which she was booked to play
, “I absolutely denounce it and to reiterate, I have no idea what’s going on here. I have no idea what the fuck is going on but I’m about to find the fuck out and I suggest that everyone else do the same.”
Amazon officially announced Intersect Wednesday afternoon. The two-day event is scheduled to take place December 6th and 7th in Las Vegas with the lineup also featuring the Foo Fighters, Kacey Musgraves, Beck, Jamie XX, Anderson. Paak, Sophie, Weyes Blood, JPEGMAFIA, Chvrches, Brandi Carlile, Flying Lotus, Japanese Breakfast, Kaytranada, Thundercat, Spoon and more.
So far, no other artists have expressed any frustration with the event or signaled that they, too, were unaware that Amazon was involved when they agreed to perform.
