Officers were called to a theft in progress at 8430 Grapevine Pass. The victim was getting out of his gray Toyota Tundra pickup when a woman approached him and asked to charge her phone in the victim’s car. The victim said yes, and as he turned away, another man arrived and pointed a gun at the victim, demanding his keys, Garcia said.
Officers pursued but discontinued when one of the cars was driven on the wrong side of the road. They recovered the victim’s pickup with a flat tire a few blocks away.
