A day after hitting $24,000, Bitcoin rose above $25,000 for the first time since June 2022.

Bitcoin BTCUSD reached a new high in 2023, with the price surpassing $25,000 for the first time in eight months, according to CoinDesk data. The last time the price of bitcoin was at $25,000 was mid-June.

After briefly hitting a high of $25,156 on Thursday afternoon, the price came back down to $24,895, up 9.11% in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin... The price of bitcoin and other cryptos took a hit after the fall of crypto exchange FTX in November 2022 and a recent U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission crackdown in the industry hitting crypto exchanges like Kraken and Gemini.
