'Bin bags pile high on our road because so many student digs have been allowed'
When asked about the issue, Coventry City Council said it was aware of instances of fly-tipping on Humber Avenue in Lower Stoke, as well as other roads in the area.
The council confirmed it was investigating all reported fly-tipping incidents and pledged to prosecute the offenders. A City Council spokesman said: "We are aware of issues at these sites as well as others and are investigating all incidents and looking to take action against those who are responsible.
"The enforcement team will always take steps to get the waste removed but it is essential that officers gather what evidence they can to hopefully catch the perpetrators before the waste is cleared."Most read in News
