Porter said that it was actually his stylist who held the remote to the hat, and closed the curtain of crystals over his face when given a specific signal. "We had a sign; when I stood in second position and clasped my purse between my legs, he was to press the button," Porter said. Porter went on to explain that he was inspired to create the outfit by none other than Billie Eilish, who wore aover her face on the red carpet of the 2019 American Music Awards."It was so cute, and I said 'Oh that's really cute — but I'm never wearing something that covers up my face, I've waited too long for this moment,'" he said."Folks need to see my face.
Porter also spoke about his new cover of"For What It's Worth," his support of the Actor's Fund, and his new routine under quarantine.
