Quadruple-nominee Bill Hader doesn't plan on getting 'competitive' with his fellow Emmy nominees

Hader felt like he was starting from scratch after last year’s nominations too. “It’s very nice getting the recognition,” Hader said. “We won Emmys last year, and it was like, insane and wonderful. It’s like for two weeks, everyone in L.A. knows it’s your birthday. Everywhere you go it’s like, Congratulations!”It was for episodes six and seven, and it was! And the next thing you know, I’m back in the room with Alec going, I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know what’s going on,” he continued.
Berg, Hader said, jokingly offered a tip. “Alec was like, why don’t you rub the Emmy on the script and see if that makes it better?” Now he’s got other options: “Maybe“It doesn’t magically make you better at your job,” Hader added, of awards recognition from the Academy and elsewhere. “But that’s kind of the fun part of it. This morning, I’m writing a new script, and I’m receiving these nice emails and stuff, and it’s great. But you’re still stuck.
