“We are thrilled to announce Nelly will be joining our school’s marching bands to perform at the first-ever Big 12 Football Championship halftime show,” Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark said in a statement. “The Big 12 is committed to living at the intersection of sports and culture and introducing championship enhancements that are best in class.”
The Big 12 Championship Game is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.. He can be heard on “The Opening Kickoff” on WNSP-FM 105.5 FM in Mobile or on the free Sound of Mobile App from 6 to 9 a.m. daily.
