'we're not gonna supply the weapons and the artillery shells used that have been used' - Hamas immediately hardens hostage negotiating position
“we’re not gonna supply the weapons and the artillery shells used that have been used” – Hamas immediately hardens hostage negotiating positionhow Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin confirmed earlier reports of a a ‘pause’ in almost $1 billion in weapons shipments to Israel over its plans to invade Rafah, Hamas’ last stronghold where it’s remaining leadership and battalians are located, along with the hostages.
If Hamas survives in Rafah, it wins the war and gets to reconstitute itself for the future attacks it has promised. Biden is trying to save Hamas. Sinwar is a happy man today; he sits in his tunnel and sees how Biden tells Israel, if you go to Rafah, I will stop the arms. He knows now he doesn't need to do anything, no deal, no ceasefire, no hostages. Biden just saved him and Hamas. FJBI don't envy Bibi; he will have to make a decision that will be, IMHO, historic. There is no going back now; he either continues the Rafah operation or surrenders to Hamas and its new leader, Biden. I will pray for him.
This ‘final battle’ for Rafah is not going to be fought by smart munitions, but by foot soldiers fighting in streets and tunnels.Entirely possible the Saudis and Jordanians may front them sufficient precision munitions to allow the IAF to take out targets. Is he really pandering to the muslim voters? After all there are more muslims than jews in the US, aren’t there?
