Biden’s remarks came during the start of his speech at a White House event, the second annual Women’s Business Summit. Before Biden’s comments, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the president would be reiterating his call for Congress to take action on gun control after the Nashville shooting.
“We need to do something. Once again, the president calls on Congress to do something before another child is senselessly killed in a preventable act of gun violence.”
