President Biden is leading former President Donald Trump by just one point, according to a new poll.

The former president is still the top candidate for the GOP. He received 59% of support from the party’s voters in the poll while Mr. DeSantis was a distant second with 13%.
Ms. Haley finds herself in third with 10% and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy lands fourth with 7%. The remaining candidates — former Vice President Mike Pence, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott all have less than 5%, according to the poll. Democratic primary voters are less confident with their choice for the party’s nominee than Republicans. Forty-five percent say they want to keep Mr., but 53% would prefer someone else. Eighty-two percent of Republican primary voters say they’re satisfied with their candidate choices.The poll was conducted Oct. 6-9 with 1,007 registered voters nationwide. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points for the full sample and plus or minus 4.
