With Canada's vaccine rollout humming along, there is optimism that border restrictions could ease very soon.
at the end of the summit, Trudeau said he and Biden spoke “about coordinating measures at our borders as both our countries move ahead with mass vaccination.”
. That is a 10% jump in just under two weeks. At this rate, it is conceivable that Canada will reach the 75% threshold in early July. Earlier this month, there was speculation that the border could reopen as early as June 22. Jim Diodati, the mayor of Niagara Falls, Ontario, that Trudeau's administration had signaled that border restrictions could begin easing later this month if the vaccine rollout remained on its current trajectory.
