Canada’s largest multi-sport competition can sometimes be overwhelming for first-time athletes. MacNeill has some advice for athletes participating this week.
He said this winter has been challenging as Prince Edward Island skiers have been chasing snow in New Brunswick, Maine and Alberta.Wendt said he remembers thinking the 2019 Games was such a huge competition where he didn’t know anyone. They also have been able to come watch him ski, as has his girlfriend and her mother.
“It’s huge with all of the athletes. … Now I know who has what pins, I know what pins I want, I know which ones I am missing.”
