A man has been indicted on multiple charges in a child sexual assault case involving solicitation of a minor and indecent with a child.

On Monday, 45-year-old Mason David Caldwell was indicted by a Bexar County grand jury on five counts of sexual assault of a child, one count of Indecency with a child by contact, and 13 counts of online solicitation of a minor. Local authorities started investigating Caldwell after a witness reported seeing inappropriate text messages on his phone.Bexar County Criminal District Attorney Joe Gonzales issued a statement in the case.
