The actors worked together on the popular TV show for seven seasons, later joining forces again over a decade later for three seasons of “Girl Meets World.”
Friedle, who played Savage’s older brother on the series, explained that — even today — his former co-star’s disappearance is still a “sore subject.”
“I said, ‘I’m gonna call you every day until you tell me not to call you anymore.’ That lasted about three weeks or a month, every single day.” Eventually, the “My Date With the President’s Daughter” star’s wife, Susan Martens, asked him, “Why are you doing this to yourself? He obviously doesn’t want you in his life.”
