The nearly two-and-a-half minute ad used an entire monologue from Damon's film character, and included a pledge for donations.
In a statement Saturday, Artists Equity, the production company that produced, said that it did not approve of the use of the monologue for the Trump ad.
“We had no foreknowledge of, did not consent to and do not endorse or approve any footage or audio frombeing repurposed by the Trump campaign as a political advertisement or for any other use,” the statement said. “Specifically in terms of any & all rights available to us under U.S.
