The 41-year-old Scottish vocal sensation, who appeared on “Pop Idol,” died from “inhalation of chloroethane,” the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed.
Autopsy results listed “toxic effects of chloroethane” and “suffocation” which led to his sudden death,Danesh first orbited toward stardom thanks to his rendition of the Britney Spears’ hit track “…Baby One More Time” in 2001 as a cast member on reality show “Popstars.” Soon after, he auditioned for “Pop Idol” — the precursor to “American Idol” — and became one of the final three contestants.Darius Campbell Danesh rose to fame after appearing on “Pop Idol.”In their statement, Danesh’s loved ones said police found “no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances.”The year following his reality TV fame, the singer inked a deal with Mercury Records and released two solo albums — “Dive in” and “Live Twice” — from 2002 to 2004.
