of January 2023 at approximately 4pm, officers were called to a gas station in the east end of Belleville regarding a counterfeit money investigation. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the employee who advised that a male currently in the store had passed a counterfeit bill in the store earlier in December of 2022.
As a result of the investigation, the male was arrested. During a search of the male, more counterfeit money was located in his possession. The male was identified as 43-year-old David Tucker of Hamilton ON. Tucker was charged with both uttering and possession of counterfeit money and released on an Undertaking with a court date in February 2023.
