Carol Taylor , President of Belleville Navy League, was presented with the Chief of Defence Scroll of Appreciation by Colonel David Brown at the 2023 National Navy League AGM. Chief of Defence Scroll of Appreciation

by Colonel David Brown, Deputy Commander of the Cadets & Junior Canadian Rangers Support Group for her lifetime of service to Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, “in appreciation of the meritorious manner in which she, as a member of the Navy League of Canada, contributed to the betterment of the Canadian Cadet Organizations through her loyal service to the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets”.

in recognition of his work developing a network of Cadet Amateur Radio Stations across Canada. In an effort to introduce more STEM content via naval communications training to the Belleville Sea Cadets he introduced a small group of Quinte Cadets to Amateur Radio. When Covid shut down in-person training he developed a virtual training program with the Amateur Radios of Canada leading to several cadets obtaining their Federal Amateur Radio License.
