Nenshi says the challenge for Smith is “fighting like everything’s broken and I’m going to fix it all but it’s her government.” Nenshi does point to other UCP ridings right around Edmonton and in the mid-size cities as places for the NDP to maybe gain some ground. “They really have to be able to show what they stand for. How can Rachel Notley convince Albertans they’d be better off with her going forward? The NDP need to come up with a really good and saleable economic plan.They must be more than not-the-UCP.
