Marci Ien, the Liberal MP for Toronto Centre riding and Minister for Women, Gender Equality and YouthRandy Boissonnault – Minister of Tourism and Associate Minister of Finance Boissonault was effectively a shoo-in for cabinet, given that the other Alberta MP George Chahal is already under investigation over removing his opponent’s flyer from a mailbox during the campaign. Boissonault doesn’t have any cabinet experience, but he was Trudeau’s special advisor on LGBTQ2 issues during his previous stint as an MP from 2015 to 2019. He was also front and centre during the SNC-Lavalin scandal due to his position on the House of Commons justice committee.
